Charmain Baker is in over her head. Looking after Great-Uncle William's tiny cottage while he's ill should have been easy. But Great-Uncle Norland is better known as the Royal Wizard Norland, and his house bends space and time.

Thoughts

Sequel to "Howl's Moving Castle"! Yay! Interesting how the subtitle is "The Sequel to Howl's Moving Castle", as if they are pretending that "Castle in the Air" didn't happen. Well, fair enough, I should hope that this one is better than "Castle in the Air". And it was.

I enjoyed this. I could see some things coming a mile off, but it didn't matter. Mind you, some of the problems seemed to be resolved a bit too easily at the end, so it gets a little minus for that. Better than "okay" but not "fantastic". I liked the world-building, with the Kobolds and the Elves, but particularly with the Lubbock and the Lubbockin. Plus, we had a heroine who was a bookworm.
