More of a pendant than a necklace. But what a cool way of using tiny scales!,

Maille and scale leaves, looking like Ivy or Maple leaves. Ingenious! Each leaf has two sizes of scale.

This is a brilliant idea! Take images and stick them to the back of the clear scales; they will show through. Which means one could do ANYTHING by way of decoration, provided one could stick and seal it.
