Crocheted two-strand necklace with paua shell, sea-glass and pewter charms. Handmade by an artist in Cairns. The shells and sea-glass are drilled, then strung on linen cord and crocheted into a chain. There are two such chains, and those chains are joined together to make one thicker cord.

What looks like a Half-Persian-3-in-1 or Half-Persian-4-in-1 chain (black and silver) with shiny black yarn or thread crocheted onto one edge. Cool.

Polymer clay and crochet; what a fascinating idea full of potential

A nifty idea of combining maille and crochet, by making a maille chain (it looks a bit like Trizantine) and then crocheting over the edges to add more decoration to the piece.

Three-strand leather thonging bracelet with large-hole beads which go over more than one strand, and alternate as to which strands they go on. Kind of like a faux braid.

What I like about this is that the necklace doesn't just end at the donut pendant, but continues on through with the matching leather cord dangle. Part of the reason it works is because the same leather cord is used above and below, and because the cord above is attached so as to mirror the cord below. (original listing has vanished)

The original is not on Rebeca Mojica's site, but this bracelet was attributed to her. What I love about this is that the colours and shape give the impression of a rose, without actually looking like a rose under closer examination.

It hadn't occurred to me that the Ghenghiz Cohen weave (a sheet weave) could be used as a chain weave as well.

One necklace which can be worn in three different ways (really two ways) - one as a long necklace with a hoop pendant, secondly doubled over with the hoop used as part of a toggle clasp. (Third way is just the second way, worn backwards) Nifty idea.

Amethyst druzy focal, clasped within gold and silver branches.

This bracelet is a cool design. It requires beads with four holes in them, but the beads could probably be replaced with normal jump rings or maybe decorative closed rings. It all depends on whether one could figure out the right sizes.

Why did I never think of this before? Nifty idea - making a gemstone-chip tree-of-life and putting an owl (or other bird) in the branches.,

This is apparently the \Clear Celtic Princess Necklace\ as featured in \Creative Beading Magazine Volume 8 No 4\. I like it. The thing that strikes me is the nifty way the four-way Celtic knot charms are used to attach beads/dangles to make feature-points in the necklace.

Lariat-style necklace which works because the cord is leather and that makes it easier to slip the two ends through the folded end (a bit like pulling the ends of a scarf through the folded end, only a necklace). I like the way the dangly ends are the centrepiece, and how they are adjusted so that one end is below the other end, so that you can see both ends clearly instead of them being tangled up in each other.

Necklace which uses a leaf toggle clasp as a centrepiece, by attaching the necklace part to the loop of the toggle, and adding an additional dangle to the part of the toggle which would normally be connected to the necklace. Brilliant! (the original links to an Ebay listing which has since vanished)
