Summary: Can Rose adjust to normal life when her life had been anything but normal?

I read this because of the title; even though it seemed like it would be just another "life in the alt'verse" story, I thought it would be worth a go. And it was. I like how this is painted. Rose finds everyone drifting away from her, a happy ending for everyone but her. Can she find a way, somewhere to be, something to do? I like this because while this is a sad Rose, she's not a whiny Rose. And I like the characterisation of Mickey here too. And the end, yes, definitely the end.

This is about love and faithfulness, holding tight and letting go, moving on and coming home. This is not a renunion fic. Tissues may be needed. While this is a Rose-centric story, it's also a must-read if you like Mickey.
