Summary: In the end, Death comes for us all. For Severus Snape and Hermione Granger, it came with cups of tea and offers of employment.

This was delightful. The tone was perfect Discworld, including footnotes and cross-references. Snape was in full snark, and Hermione was, of course, lost in the library...
