Epoxy Resin Tray using the Cling Film TechniqueHey my lovelies, In this video I am showing you how I used the Cling Film Technique in Epoxy Resin, to create the most amazing luxurious fabric effect within the resin. As I say in the video, this is my first attempt and whilst it did not turn out how I expected, my second attempt truly is not to be missed. My second attempt will be out Saturday.
This video was inspired by the amazing Wanda .. check out her channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgoyIUrQektSn8VdxW9kyuQ

Simple connecting stitch for Tunisian Crochet - working in the round with a cabled hook.Read more here: https://payhip.com/Abbeymade/blog/tunisian-crochet-tutorials/work-in-the-round-with-a-cabled-hook
This is my favourite method for working in the round with a cabled tunisian hook. I did not invent this technique, I learned it from Ben Burchall and I think even he didn't invent it!
I use this 'connecting stitch' method for nearly all my 'in the round' Tunisian Crochet patterns. It does not leave a 'jog' in the rounds which is great when working in stripes - such as in mosaic.
You can apply this technique to any in the round Tunisian Crochet pattern. Please note there are other methods for making a connecting stitch and you can also work in the round with a double ended rigid or cabled hook.2023-06-19 21:59:00 -

Long Tail Cast On Without Estimating Tail Length // Knitting Tips & TechniquesJulie Weisenberger from Cocoknits shares her technique for casting on a large number of stitches using the long tail cast on method.
Long tail CO provides a neat edge to your work. But how often have you CO 200 of 220 and run out of yarn, ripped, CO again only to have 3 yards of extra tail at the end?
When a pattern requires you to CO 100+ sts how do you estimate how long a tail to leave? The answer: donât.
Instead, use two tails of yarn, either from two separate balls of yarn or a tail from the inside and a tail from the outside of a center-pull ball.
See the step-by-step instructions on the Cocoknits website: https://cocoknits.com/tips-and-tutorials/techniques/no-more-estimating-tail-length-for-a-long-tail-co/2023-05-01 18:48:00 -
