I like this idea! Mixing crochet, chains, and semi-precious donut-beads. This shows earrings, but one could use this idea for a necklace too, and possibly use more complex maille weaves with this mix of rings.

Two things I like about this: \ the single swirl in the wraps around the donut, making it like a cross between a flower and a whirlpool \ the way the pinkish bright copper goes with the pink in the Unakite (original listing is gone)

Most wire-work ear-wraps I've seen are flimsy; this is elegant yet substantial. (This item is no longer on the artist's website)

The idea here is to use pieces of leather as part of a freeform-crochet design; punch holes in the leather and crochet around the edges, then join as another scrumble.\012\012(could not find original)

Hair barrette, a rather substantial one, big enough to hold a bun in place. Thick copper wire, two pieces in two double-ended spirals, bound together with thinner wire. Plus the hair-stick doing the actual pinning.

It never occurred to me that one could string up the watch parts like beads, since I'd usually seen them glued to things, or used as rings in maille. Great idea. (original is gone)

Lariat style shell and pearl necklace with beads. The cool thing about this is how the end of the necklace goes through the hole in the GoGo/Donut shell. Could do this with (knit/crochet/macrame/kumihimo) cord too, and with semi-precious donuts. (original page is gone)

Tree of Life entirely in wire, wrapping a stone. I like how it appears that the tree is clinging to the stone as it hugs it in wire.

A spirograph-like design done by wrapping wire over what looks like a cog -- at least a circle of metal with wide notches in it, which catches the wire. In the centre, the wire wraps over a Swarovski crystal. This is pretty cool. What I don't know is if I could find a suitable _cog_ to use.

Wire-wrapped pendant. I like the line of spirals in gradually increasing sizes.

Three hammered wire spirals, bound to each other on the inside, and bound to a hammered circle on the outside. I like the construction of this.

Two S-shaped double-spirals with beads, wireed together at three points to make simple yet elegant design.

A pretty cabochon made with foil, ink, and liquid polymer clay to give it a smooth surface. From a distance you can't tell that it's foil behind it all.
